Can I Use A Window Ac In A Wall Sleeve. If you install the window unit in the wall, how thru the wall a/c units are in a sleeve that is attached and sealed to the wall. It will work but you will pay later.

The only time i have seen them tipped badly was when a unit was placed i a window with triple track storms. You must install a sleeve in your wall to support the weight. Can a window mount air conditioner be used as a wall mount air i have window ac units in my house and they are getting dirty.

The reason is that a dryer vent and an air conditioner exhaust hose are usually not the same in size. They're similar to window acs but are installed through an exterior wall and use a wall sleeve for support. The sleeve for a wall air conditioner is really just a thin metal box open on two faces (outside and inside). Wall ac units are not restricted by the size of your windows, as are window units.
