You cannot use a hook meant for drywall on concrete and vice versa!
Do Command Hooks Work On Textured Walls. Avoid adhering them to brick walls, textured wallpaper, concrete or timber. Textured walls won't hold these for long.

I've used them for years. ( i think command is the brand name ) anyways, they will be somewhere close to picture hanging supplies department. Command strips are a home decorator's best friend.
You're not going to be able to use them sucessfully on textured walls.
Here's what you're probably doing wrong. But the rest of the year the thing is, you can use this same mounting method to hang your tablet on walls throughout your house. Smooth drywall walls, textured drywall, painted brick, a chalk board, a white board, the side of a microwave, back of a pressboard door, and tile in the bathroom. Command hooks have generally worked really well for me.
