Does Drylock Basement Walls Work

I did it use a matted brush roller to spread it onto the wall.

Does Drylock Basement Walls Work. It's a lot of work, and not very pretty. Also i am going to make part of the basement drylock works best on bare block walls or bare cement.

What drylock does is adheres (better than other coatings) to chalky, porous, wet, and otherwise less than i did my entire basement with drylock about 20 years ago and it's still holding up fine. We do take one special step in framing the wall. Drylock was our number one purchase for this project.

But any standard brush for latex paint will work.

I am interested in sealing them using this paint what would be your recommendations for waterproofing with paint/drylock in this situation. I used drylock once about half a century ago it seems, and it miserably failed to work even as well as portland cement, so i have used thoro. We do take one special step in framing the wall.
