I have used peel and stick wallpaper several times on my textured walls. We do not recommend placing heavy objects on top of the mats as they are likely to leave a permanent indentation. Julia advises against using it on flat or matte finishes, paints containing teflon, chlorinated waxes and silicones, heavily textured finishes, and existing wallpaper.
