I thought that you plug wall jack into a wall socket and then connect an ethernet from the wall jack to a pc. I have a wall jack that i purchased from monoprice.com. I'd like to run the cable up through the walls are covered by a horizontal beam that gives me no clue what is underneath or how high they are.
