If you don't, run the faucet and use a container or jug to rinse the walls. I never have to clean them. The tile is sealed but i don't want to take any chances.

You could also use an absorbent microfiber cloth to dry off shower walls and doors. I remember the first time i ever used oven cleaner. The material dries completely between uses to prevent i bought this because i had shoulder surgery and used it to clean my arms and back since i couldn't reach. Rather than cleaning them, they can etch the surface and leave a dull, filmy appearance.
